Turn and Face the Strange: Titans Links from Jerlindsey

Titans Links!
Three quick notes from yesterday's practice. Schwenke stepped in for Spain, and is getting the nod to start on Thursday. Mularkey said the team has confidence in Schwenke, and has been a part of the offense and offensive line for quite a while now. Lewan talked about his touchdown, and that the team has practiced it a number of times. Lewan said he's even been the target of passes in practice since his rookie season. Injury roundup! Cox, Rashad Johnson, and Spain did not practice. Sharpe, Dodd, and Murray were all limited, and Walker fully participated.

Quick Hit: Are the Titans more predictable than the NFL?

Mariota wants to make more good memories against the Jaguars. Last December Mariota threw for 268 yards and three touchdowns against the Jaguars. Oh yeah. He also had a sweet 87 yard touchdown run as well. Dang that was awesome. Jaguars coach Gus Bradley also remembers that play. Bradley acknowledges Mariota is athletic, fast, accurate, and can put a strain on the defense. I hope Mariota torches them. A man can hope.

Quick Hit: Mariota uses practice to refine his mechanics, and correct his flaws.

That's all for today. Happy reading!
