The schedule sets up for the Titans to challenge in AFC South

We might be getting a little bit ahead of ourselves, but the Titans have a real chance to make a run.

Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen of ESPN have up out a “notebook” post this morning with a lot of interesting nuggets. Among the notes in there is the fact that Fat Eddie Lacy is indeed Fat again. This has nothing to do with the Titans, but I am sure a lot of you, like me, own Fat Eddie in fantasy football. He’s been productive this year, 5.1 yards per carry, but the extra weight can’t be a good thing.

Anyway, here was the part of the notebook that got me excited:

The Titans aren’t going to beat the Broncos, but I look at the rest of those games as games the Titans have a legitimate shot to win. Of course they aren’t going to win them all, but it is fun to have a good feeling about so many games.

But it all starts with Sunday against the Colts. If the Titans want to be mentioned as a team that has a real shot to get to the playoffs, they have to beat the Colts at home.
