Last night was nothing short of a disaster for the Indianapolis Colts. I turned the game off after Adam Vinatieri hit the field goal that put the Colts up 23-9 with 7:04 left in the game. Why wouldn’t I? The game was over.
Well as you probably know, the game wasn’t over. The Texans scored 2 touchdowns in final minutes of regulation and won the game in overtime. The loss dropped the Colts to 2-4 and to last place in the division.
Frank Gore, who signed a 2-year deal with the Colts before last season, wasn’t very happy after the game. Here is what he had to say to Gregg Doyel of the Indy Star:
(Doyel went on to explain that Gore calls the playoffs the Super Bowl tournament for some of those who might be confused.)
The Colts just flat out aren’t very good. They have Andrew Luck, who might not be as good as people tried to lead you to believe, and TY Hilton. That is about it. Their offensive line is terrible, and they have very little talent on defense.
The Titans haven’t beaten the Colts since 2011- that’s 9 straight for those of you scoring at home. This is the time to knock them off. 3 in a row heading into a Thursday night match-up with the Jaguars would be HYPE.
