Titans Wednesday injury report

The Titans have been fortunate in the injury department so far....knock on wood....

NFL: Jacksonville Jaguars at Tennessee Titans Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODAY Sports

Al Woods was the only member of the Tennessee Titans to miss practice today. Taylor Lewan was limited with a sore shoulder that doesn’t sound very serious. Da’Norris Searcy and Cody Riggs both returned on at least a limited basis. The Titans have been very fortunate in the injury department thus far this season.

Injuries play a factor for every NFL team every season. Through 5 games the Titans have been lucky in that department. They were without Delanie Walker for a game, which was tough, but it was only one week.

They did lose Chance Warmack to IR, but let’s be honest, and this really hurts me to say, he wasn’t good anyway.

The biggest injury to date is the loss of Byron Bell back in OTAs.

The good luck needs to continue for the Titans to be successful. This roster is more talented than it has been in years past, but they still wouldn’t be able to withstand an injury barrage- or even one key injury like the one to Derrick Morgan last season.

So throw up whatever voodoo you have working thus far this season so the Titans can continue on this path.
