Checking in on the AFC South standings

The division is there for the taking. Can the Titans take it?

The Titans have a chance to make some hay in the division over the next month. They have 3 home games in a row against the Cleveland Browns, Indianapolis Colts and Jacksonville Jaguars. After the Texans got waxed by the Vikings yesterday, the Titans are only a game out in the division:

AFC South Standings

  1. Houston Texans 3-2
  2. Tennessee Titans 2-3
  3. Indianapolis Colts 2-3
  4. Jacksonville Jaguars 1-3

The Colts won a tight game at home yesterday against the Chicago Bears. They have only played 1 AFC South game to this point. It was against the Jaguars and they lost 30-27 in London. They are in Houston week 6 to take on the Texans on Sunday Night Football.

The Jaguars had their bye yesterday. They travel to Chicago to take on the Bears in week 6.

If the Titans play well over the next 3 weeks they could win all 3 of those games. That would put them at 5-3 and more than likely in first place with half of the season gone. What a weird feeling that would be.
