While we wait for the Titans to hire a general manager and head coach, we can watch some playoff football. Wild card weekend is one of the most fun weekends of the NFL season. One day maybe the Titans will be playing in one of those dreams. Hey, we can dream, right?
Kansas City Chiefs vs. Houston Texans 3:20 central ABC/ESPN
You know how you know how you are hooked to daily fantasy football? When every time you think about a game you think about the guys you want to play from that game. There really isn't much I want from this game other than the defenses. The Chiefs defense has been on fire lately, and they get a huge boost with Justin Houston returning to the lineup. I like them a lot in this gma.e.
The Chiefs are a 3 point favorite in this one. I hope they win by 30.
Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Cincinnati Bengals 6:15 central CBS
There are a lot of fantasy plays in this one. The Steelers are down to their 3rd and 4th running backs. There are going to have to throw it...and throw it a TON. Anotonio Brown is really expensive. That might tempt you to fade him, but that is not a good idea. He could be looking at another 10 catch game.
Martavis Bryant is another interesting name. Ben Roethlisberger called Bryant out in the media this week. Bryant responded by putting in extra work. It just takes one play for him to meet value.
Heath Miller had 10 catches in each game against the Bengals in the regular season and he's cheap.
Don't sleep on A.J. McCarron and A.J. Green here. The Steelers defense is tough against the run but weak on the outside. Tyler Eifert is another interesting play. He doesn't get huge volume, but he could easily get a couple of touchdowns in this one.
Enjoy the games! Discuss them here.
