Josh McDaniels is reported to be interested in the Tennessee Titans head coaching job. McDaniels would be eligible to interview with interested teams this weekend because the Patriots have a bye. Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reported this morning that McDaniels will not interview be taking any interviews this weekend:
Despite plenty of interest, #Patriots OC Josh McDaniels will not interview for head coaching jobs this weekend. Focused on the game

Now, this lines up well for the Titans if they have any interest in McDaniels. He won't be eligible to interview with any teams until either the Patriots are eliminated or the week before the Super Bowl after this weekend. It is clear that the Titans are focusing on the GM search before moving on to the coaching search.
I don't know what to think about McDaniels. Things didn't work out with him in Denver....mainly because Tim Tebow was his quarterback. Marcus Mariota is like Tim Tebow except right handed and can actually throw the football accurately. I hear that really helps when playing QB in the NFL. It makes sense that McDaniels would want the chance to work with Mariota.
