Tennessee Titans News Links: One Week Down

We made it through the first week! Celebrate!

Throughout the week we heard reports of candidates for the GM position. Yesterday we learned a new player had entered the game: Ted Sundquist. He and Marc Ross interviewed yesterday. Who was there at the interview? Amy Adams Strunk, Kenny Boy Adams the IV, and Steve Mustachewood. All signs this week point to the Titans wanting to lock down the GM position first, and then move onto the Head Coach search. I have no qualms with that strategy at all.

It may be disheartening to hear popular GM candidates decline an interview with our beloved Titans, but it's all good. A lot of it comes down to job security. I totally get that.

The age old question: Would Jason McCourty switch to Safety like his twin brother? Well you can sleep easy now, because Jim Wyatt has the answer! Potassium Pistachio Poutasi wants to stay off the "roller coaster" next season. I want him to just stop sucking. Speaking of players, Brad Sonneborn has 5 positions he feels the Titans MUST address this offseason. I'd say the needs are pretty spot on.

Wanna hear something kooky? Despite their absolute suck; The Titans had higher TV ratings than they did last season. I think a lot of that can be credited to the awesomeness that is Marcus Mariota.
