Albert Breer of NFL.com is reporting that Ravens assistant GM Eric DeCosta has turned down an opportunity to interview with the Titans. This really isn't a surprise. There have been many, many teams that have attempted to lure DeCosta away from the Ravens. Apparently he is content in waiting Ozzie Newsome out.
The Titans still reportedly have interviews scheduled with Marc Ross of the Giants and Jimmy Raye III from the Colts. I saw somewhere on Twitter that the Ross interview is scheduled for Thursday.
People are freaking out on Twitter because there have been no names mentioned in the Titans head coaching search. Look, there is a chance that means they have already decided to hire Mike Mularkey. It could also mean that they are wanting to hire a general manager before they hire a head coach. That actually makes sense.
The point is, there is no reason to freak out.....yet.
