Mike Shula Vegas Favorite to Become Titans Next Head Coach

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

I'm going to be honest, life is going to be very hard for me if the Tennessee Titans hire Mike Shula to be their next head coach.  I get why he is in consideration, really, I do, but I cannot get the image of him and the overwhelmed look he had on his face on the sidelines during his tenure as the head coach at Alabama.

I also understand that it has been 20 years since he was the coach in Tuscaloosa, and that if he hadn't been so bad Nick Saban wouldn't be there now.  A person can learn a lot in 10 years and maybe this time would be different...but I just can't get that image of him out of my head.

Anyway, all of that because according to a gambling site, onlinegambling.lv, Shula is the favorite to become the Titans next head coach (per Jason Wolf):

MCM's own Kyle Harris has been a big proponent of Shula, and Harris is someone who's opinion I trust when it comes to the X's and O's of football. I do have to wonder though how much of the success the Panthers have had this year is due to Shula and how much of it is due to the former Auburn quarterback (as Gramsey likes to call him.

My opinion is admittedly biased. What do y'all think? Vote in the poll.
