Tennessee Titans might find their next offensive tackle before the NFL Draft.

Some news about a Hall of Fame offensive tackle.

Ken Blaze-USA TODAY Sports

While everything is happening quickly across the league, one thing stood out to me among everything else. It looks like if Mike Pettine is fired for the Cleveland Browns, Joe Thomas will ask for a release or a trade.

According to the Cleveland Browns beat writer Nate Ulrich,

"Joe Thomas said he might ask for way out of organization depending on what changes are made to coaching staff, front office."

That is huge for the Browns. While Joe Thomas is older, he still might be the best offensive tackle in the league. Not only that, but where he lands could end up being where his friend and All-Pro center Alex Mack lands. That would fill two of the Titans biggest needs in free agency where they have a ton of cap room to spend.

With all the talk about how the Tennessee Titans should be running to the podium to grab Laremy Tunsil in the upcoming draft, this just sticks out as a much better plan. If the Titans really want a franchise left tackle and to move Taylor Lewan over to right tackle, then this is the perfect option to preserve there draft pick.

If Joe Thomas is up for grabs in a trade and the Titans bring in a new coaching staff (which they definitely should) then there is reason to think that they will grab a big name with some assumed stability.

This is all speculation, but after seeing what this offensive line looks like without Lewan, everyone can agree that this team needs another tackle. An offensive line from left to right that looks like this Joe Thomas, Jeremiah Poutasi, Alex Mack, Chance Warmack, and Taylor Lewan would have as much size and potential as any line in the league.

It is the offseason now, let the speculation begin.
