Delanie Walker and Jurrell Casey were bright spots in a miserable season for the Titans. They both got news last night that they will be headed to the Pro Bowl. Walker gets the spot vacated by Panthers' tight end Greg Olsen and Casey gets the spot vacated by Kawann Short of the Panthers. Casey had a couple of opportunities to go as a replacement in the past but turned them down. I am glad he changed his mind this time.
Walker had the best season ever for a Titans tight end with 94 catches for 1,088 yards and 6 touchdowns. He has gotten better every year he has been with the Titans. He was the one home run Ruston Webster hit in free agency.
Casey had another really good year on the defensive line with 7 sacks, but sacks don't tell the whole story on what he brings to the defense. He constantly shows up in the opposing team's backfield.
If nothing else, this gives us a reason to watch the Pro Bowl!
