Top free agent to watch today: Arizona Cardinals

Which player could help the Titans.

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

The Tennessee Titans scouts are getting into full offseason mode, but one of the most pressing things that needs to be addressed is free agency. With that looming in just around a month and a half, the Titans need to be digging deep into the upcoming free agents. With all their cap space, the Titans should have a lot of options to address their needs.

So, which free agent from the Cardinals fits the Titans the best?

Dwight Freeney or Lamarr Woodley, EDGE

I think this is an easy one for the Titans when you look at that list of potential free agents. The Titans need all the veteran leadership they can get at any position. The Tennessee Titans were devastated last year defensively when Derrick Morgan was lost for the season, and that can't happen again.

Either one of these players would give the Titans a nice boost. Freeney still has an elite arsenal of pass rush moves and short area quickness even if he has lost is every down ability. Woodley is a former Steelers player who Dick LeBeau loved during their time together in Pittsburgh. He could be an on the field captain for the Titans and help get some of the younger players in position with superstar players like Jalen Ramsey and Joey Bosa being constantly mocked to the Tennessee Titans.

I know that neither are close to their prime and that both are 400 snap guys per year, but again this is a move to help the locker room. There are too many players in there that reportedly aren't bought in and who are alright with accepting defeat and that absolutely can not stand.
