The Titans have reportedly hired Jon Robison to be the general manager. That is one piece of the puzzle in place. Now we have to wait for the next domino to fall- the head coach. There are a lot of reports linking Josh McDaniels to the Titans as the next head coach:
reports are #Titans closing in on Jon Robinson for their GM opening...if that happens, hearing he'll tap Josh McDaniels for head coach

Josh McDaniels is likely the top HC candidate for Jon Robinson when he is named Titans general manager. Robinson will be announced on Thurs.

As many have reported, makes sense that Jon Robinson could tap into his Patriots roots and bring in Josh McDaniels as Titans' new coach.

There are also reports that GM candidates were eliminated if they were not OK with Mike Mularkey as the head coach:

. @ProFootballTalk tells @WUZ1045 that it'd be a shock at this point if Mularkey were not the coach.

So I don't know what to believe, but if they really did eliminated candidates for the GM job based on Mularkey that is an extremely stupid move. I think we will have our answer to this question before next week. If they don't hire Mularkey before the end of the weekend he won't be the coach.
