"I think about a world to come,
Where the books were found by the golden ones..."
As of the time writing this post: We are still waiting to get an announcement on who our new GM will be. I have a feeling we will find out today who it is, but what do I know? One thing I DO know is that the Titans will begin interviewing a few head coaches starting today. The names of the first three candidates are: Mike Mularkey, Doug Marrone, and Teryl Austin. Feel free to continue your irrational panic.
Paul K feels there should be a name added to the list of Head Coach candidates: Jim Schwartz. For those of you who don't know: Jim Schwartz was with the Titans from 1999 to 2008 (2001 - 2008 he was the defensive coordinator), and then went on to be the head coach in Detroit where he took over a team who had finished the previous year 0-16.
Speaking of former coaches: Pratt's favorite, the Whizinator, went back to the Los Angeles San Diego Chargers. He will once again be their offensive coordinator. So there's that.
In case you live under a rock: the Rams were given permission to move to LA. The Rams and Titans met 5 times during their stay in St. Louis. I was actually at the last game they played against each other. It was pretty nice watching the Titans beat the Rams here in St. Louis, Especially since it was Fisher's first game against his former team, AND they decided to remember their Super Bowl victory against us during that game. Suckers. Here are 5 "snapshots" of those games. (I'd skip number 2 if I were you though).
Check out how DGB compared to other rookie WRs. He actually compared pretty well #Repent. I'm hoping he can become an even bigger piece of this WR core next year. Maybe having a real coach, now that Shawn Jefferson is gone, will help.
That's all for today. Happy reading!
