Jason La Canfora, who is often wrong on things when it comes to the Titans, is reporting that Jon Robinson of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is the front runner to become the Titans new general manager:
Bucs exec Jon Robinson is the frontrunner for the Titans GM job. Announcement coming as soon as Thursday. Belichick tree is very hot now...

Robinson spent the bulk of his career with the Pats, where he worked with Bucs exec jason Licht, who brought him to Tampa a few years ago

I will give the La Canfora report some credence because Jason Wolf of the Tennessean later tweeted this:
I can confirm #Titans are informing GM candidates that they have not received the job. Hire appears imminent.

It is interesting to note that Robinson was with the New England Patriots from 2002-2013. He is a guy that would be very familiar with, say, Josh McDaniels.
