In a post that I put up just a little while ago, I posted that the Titans may be doing some GM interviews today under the radar. And not long after that reports came out that said that Jon Robinson may have given a clue on the Titans timetable.
Rick Stroud who covers the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Titans GM candidate, Jon Robinson's organization) tweeted this:
"
#Bucs director of player personnel Jon Robinson interviewed for#Titans GM job [Friday] Expects to hear a decision as early as the next day or 2"
So that means that Chris Ballard is almost certainly the last Titans target to be interviewed for the job as I said in my last post. Not only that, but it seems like the Titans are not expected to do a second round of interviews. That means that for all the fans of Chris Ballard, he does seemingly get the last interview which is always a big thing in terms of momentum.
While I hope that it comes down to Ballard, Robinson, Polian, and Sundquist I think that the Titans went about this the right way and everything they have done in the past two weeks is what you want a franchise to do. A strong hire here could be the turning point of this franchise.
