The Titans finished the preseason on a strong note last night when they beat the Minnesota Vikings at Nissan Stadium. They now have until 3 PM Saturday to get the roster from 75 players down to 53. The names of players that have been cut will probably start to come out today.
Here is my final 53 man roster prediction:
QB: Marcus Mariota, Zach Mettenberger, Charlie Whithurst (3)
RB: Bishop Sankey, Antonio Andrews, David Cobb, Jalston Fowler (5)
WR: Kendall Wright, Harry Douglas, Justin Hunter, Dorial Green-Beckham, Hakeem Nicks, Tre McBride (6)
TE: Delanie Walker, Anthony Fasano, Craig Stevens, Chase Coffman (4)
OL: Taylor Lewan, Jamon Meredith, Brian Schwenke, Andy Gallik, Byron Bell, Chance Warmack, Jeremiah Poutasi, Byron Stingily (8)
DL: DaQuan Jones, Ropati Pitoitua, Angelo Blackson, Sammie Hill, Jurrell Casey, Karl Klug, Al Woods (7)
OLB: Derrick Morgan, Brian Orakpo, Deiontrez Mount, Jonathan Massaquoi (4)
ILB: Zach Brown, Avery Williamson, Zaviar Gooden, Wesley Woodyard (4)
CB: Jason McCourty, Perrish Cox, Blidi Wreh-Wilson, Marqueston Huff, Cody Riggs, Coty Sensabaugh (6)
S: Michael Griffen Da'Norris Searcy, Daimion Stafford, Khalid Wooten (4)
K: Ryan Succop (1)
P: Brett Kern (1)
LS: Beau Brinkley (1)
DaQuan Bowers didn't make the cut this time!
The only change I made here is to take off Dexter McCluster and add Chase Coffman. It cannot be a good sign for McCluster that he was in the game at the end last night. This version doesn't include McCluster or Levitre. Those are two of their more high profile free agent signings of the last couple of years.
What do you think of this version?
