The Associated Press is reporting that the judge has overturned Tom Brady's 4 game suspension that the NFL handed down to him because of the deflated footballs in the AFC Championship game. This ends our long national nightmare. Actually, it isn't over yet because this is all anyone is going to be talking about for the next couple of days.
The takeaways here are obvious. This moves Brady way up the board in fantasy drafts. His average draft position was 10th among quarterbacks according to Fantasy Pros. That number will skyrocket in the next couple of weeks. If you have already done a draft and you have Brady on your team, odds are you got a fantastic value.
From an actual football perspective, this is obviously a huge boost for the Patriots. The AFC East has gotten better this offseason, so 4 games without Brady could have made a big difference in the hunt for a division title. They don't have to worry about that anymore. You probably remember the slow start they got off to last year, but once Rob Gronkowski was 100% they went on a tear that ended with a Super Bowl Championship.
