The Titans are in a 4 way tie for 1st place in the AFC South. The Titans could have been in sole possession of 1st, but had an epic collapse yesterday. Despite the errors, Marcus Mariota had a VERY good game. He set the rookie franchise record for passing yards, and now has 8 TDs to only 2 Interceptions this year. 1 of those INTs was very much not his fault, and the other very much was.
The Titans had a chance to tie the game, late in the 4th with a 2 pt conversion. They went jumbo, and it didn't end well.
The game wasn't lost on that 2 point conversion, instead, it was lost when the Titans allowed the Colts to gain huge chunks of yardage, including a 98 yard march down the field for a TD.
Here are some of the postgame quotes from the Titans. I think there was some definite progress yesterday, however, there are no such things as moral victories. That loss is going to sting.
