The Titans have yet to find an answer in their backfield. This week, a new face has emerged into the race. Antonio Andrews is active for the first time this season, finally healthy from a lingering hamstring injury. To make room for Andrews, Terrance West was scratched for today's game.
West showed some promise against Tampa Bay, but lost a key fumble against Cleveland last week. Andrews will take his role.
Dexter McCluster was the best of the Titans' backs last week and he figures to play another big role today. He averaged nearly ten yards per carry, so look for the Titans to give him more of the same opportunities on outside runs today.
The Titans will go forward with a committee approach for the foreseeable future. Bishop Sankey leads the team in carries with 24, Terrance West is second with 16. We'll see what their plan is for Andrews today. I'm expecting 7-10 touches for the Western Kentucky product.
If you're wondering who to start in your fantasy league, it's best to steer clear of the Titans' backfield completely. It's a rule that I've followed for a few years now.
