NFL Power Rankings Week 3: How far did the Titans fall?

New, comments
Scott R. Galvin-USA TODAY Sports

Last week it was really fun to look at the power rankings.  The Titans were shooting up the rankings.  All of the comments were praise about how good Marcus Mariota looked in his first start.  This week is different.  They have that little red arrow next to their name.  That can all change this week with a win over the winless Colts.

Here is a look at the rankings around the web:

ESPN- 27 (LW:23):

Seven sacks, three fumbles (two lost) and a 29.7 Total QBR for Marcus Mariota in Week 2. The good news is Mariota won't play another game away from Nashville until Nov. 1.

PFT- 23 (LW:25) (THEY WENT UP!)

Those offseason rumors about the Browns wanting Marcus Mariota to start his career in Cleveland apparently inspired the defense to try to end it in Cleveland.

CBS- 25 (LW:23)

Marcus Mariota came back to Earth a bit, but he did get it going in the second half against the Browns. That's what happens to rookies sometimes.

SB Nation- 32 (ridiculous) (LW:27)
