Titans Inactives Against the Buccaneers

New, comments

Here are the seven inactive players for the Titans today.

Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODAY Sports

The Tennessee Titans have officially announced their inactives for today's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Official inactives:

Charlie Whitehurst

Antonio Andrews

Jason McCourty

Quinton Spain

Chase Coffman

Ropati Pitoitua

Sammie Lee Hill

Quick notes:

Perhaps the most surprising part of all of this is Terrance West.  He's active and ready to play.  Antonio Andrews is dealing with a hamstring issue, which keeps him out of today's contest.  Looks for lots of Bishop Sankey and Dexter McCluster today.  Sankey appears in line to return kicks.

The Titans will roll with just two quarterbacks, Marcus Mariota and Zach Mettenberger.

Sammie Hill and Jason McCourty -- two defensive starters are out as expected.  Al Woods will fill in for Hill.  The secondary will be an issue today.  Blidi Wreh Wilson and Perish Cox will have to step up, even though the Bucs will be without Mike Evans.

Phillip Supernaw gets the nod over Chase Coffman for the fourth tight end role.
