Latest news and speculation on Tennessee Titans and Tampa Bay Buccaneers injuries

News on two major injury concerns.

John Rieger-USA TODAY Sports

There are really two major things to watch on the injury front this week for the Tennessee Titans, and here is the latest news on both.

Perrish Cox

First we can start with the team everyone is here to talk about. Perrish Cox suddenly popped up on the injury report list late last week without any sort of warning or preamble. It would be a tough loss if the Tennessee Titans were without Cox this week because they are already thin at quarterback.

While there has been no official confirmation one way or another, a tweet from Saturday morning might shed some light on whether he will play or not:

I mean, I'm not sure how much clearer he could be. If he gets held out at this point I have to assume that is a coaches decision.

Mike Evans

Like I said yesterday, all eyes are on the Evans injury because of how important the 2014 1st round pick is from a defensive strategy standpoint. Unfortunately for the Tennessee Titans it looks like he is probably going to be a go which most people probably expected.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr"><a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Bucs?src=hash">#Bucs</a> WR Mike Evans (hamstring) feels good and is optimistic about playing. But the team will make the call after he works out pregame.</p>&mdash; Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) <a href="https://twitter.com/RapSheet/status/643058593420443648">September 13, 2015</a></blockquote>

Again, that isn't iron clad, but if he is insistent it is hard to imagine the team not giving Jameis Winston one of his best targets.
