Eddie George was at Titans training camp on Monday night.  Here is what he had to say to Jim Wyatt about Marcus Mariota:

"Watching him, watching his presence, he has a calming presence,’’ George said of Mariota. "He is a lot like Steve, a quiet leader. He doesn’t have to say a whole lot. He just gets the job done. He has command of the huddle and looks so calm and that is really impressive, especially as a rookie."

That is high praise from Eddie!

USA Today projected the record for all 32 NFL teams. They had the Titans at 4-12 with this comment:

Let's have some patience with Marcus Mariota, who inherits a last-place schedule that still features trips to New Orleans and the AFC East gauntlet.

I'll take the over.

Marcus Mariota has been great in camp, but he struggled early in the 7 on 7 red zone period the other night. Ken Whisenhunt explains why.

This has nothing to do with the Titans, but Colts head coach Chuck Pagano, a cancer survivor, wore an Eric Berry jersey at practice yesterday. Classy move, Chuck!
