The Tennessee Titans still have one more preseason game before the real show starts. However, one of the big questions on Thursday will be whether or not they show rookie defensive tackle Toby Johnson.
For those of you that don't know, Toby Johnson has done a lot of good things in around 30 reps of actual playing time and it looks like the Tennessee Titans have taken notice. The third preseason game is the one that everyone watches the most and the Titans wisely hid/stashed Johnson and didn't play him.
There is a real chance that Johnson will make this roster or at the very least be brought on to the practice squad. So do the Tennessee Titans play Johnson this week to make sure that he is worth a roster spot? If so then they will be pitting him against Brandon Fusco and Zac Kerin who have both had a good preseason.
It will be interesting to see how much he plays in this game because a good game here could put him on the 53-man roster and push Mike Martin (who has struggled) off. If he doesn't have a good game then it could ultimately result with him being released.
No player on the Tennessee Titans roster has more to gain with a good game and more to lose with a bad game (except for maybe Andy Levitre) and this will give fans something to watch from the first series to the very end.
