Ken Whisenhunt said yesterday that there will be some people that should make the squad that are going to play in the final game of the preseason, and he wasn't excited about it:

So with that in mind, I think one thing to watch this week is Justin Hunter vs the Minnesota Vikings.
I don't think that this one game can change everyone's mind, but with a good group of wide receivers on the roster (actually catching passes) I expect this may be a do or die game for the former Tennessee Volunteer. While he has the ability to take the top off of the defense, he has to be able to do more than that. We all saw last week that he can't win on nine routes alone, he has to set that up with other plays.
I wouldn't be surprised if the Tennessee Titans played Justin Hunter the entire game. Whisenhunt as stood firm saying that he has had a good camp, and he can't justify keeping him on the roster any longer if he can't show it on the field. With Zach Mettenberger likely to get a full half of time, I expect Justin Hunter to get six or seven targets this week and if he doesn't have a great game he could be gone.
Even if he does have a great game, the Tennessee Titans have to be thinking about moving Justin Hunter if they get any trade offers. With several teams struggling at wide receivers like the Green Bay Packers and Carolina Panthers, it wouldn't surprise me if there was a player for player trade or a conditional pick involved.
This team needs to know that Hunter can work in this offense, and practice aside if he doesn't have a great performance then they might just be ready to get rid of the inconsistency.
