Justin Hunter chargers reduced to a misdemeanor

The charges against Justin Hunter have been reduced from malicious wounding, which is a felony, to assault and battery, which is a misdemeanor, according to Gabriella DeLuca.  Hunter has another hearing in his case on Tuesday, September 1st.  This is obviously not nearly as serious as it sounded when the incident was first reported.

Now we will have to wait and see what happens from here, but I can't imagine Hunter facing any serious discipline from the league from this considering the charge has been dropped to a misdemeanor and with this being his first offense.  They will probably wait for the legal process to play out before anything is determined.

Now Hunter just needs to focus on becoming the consistent deep threat the Titans drafted him to be.
