Jim Wyatt reported earlier today that David Cobb injured his calf yesterday and did not make the trip to Kansas City. Look for Antonio Andrews to get a lot of work tonight. Ken Whisenhunt said this week that the starters probably won't play into the second half like they normally would in the third preseason game because of the short week. That means Bishop Sankey might not be in for very long.
Andrews probably isn't on the roster bubble, but he is probably third in line to get carries in the regular season right now. A strong showing tonight could get him at least even with Cobb. If Cobb is going to be out for an extended period of time, Andrews could establish himself as the second guy in line to get carries.
The other guy to keep an eye on for tonight is Dorial Green-Beckham. He made the trip, but they still could elect to sit him out after he injured his ankle in practice earlier this week.
