Tennessee Titans News Links: Needed Improvement

The Titans impressed me last night. They took a team that defensively is one of the best in the NFL, and they put a smack down on them. The offensive line did more than an adequate job of pass and run blocking for Marcus and Sankey. Marcus looked good, even when he was under pressure, and Coffman kept proving that he is indeed the best TE in NFL history.

Like I mentioned above, Mariota looked good even when blitzed by Gregg Williams and the Rams defense. I will say that the Rams played exceptionally dirty football, looking to smoke Marcus on every single play, even illegally.

Perrish Cox and Brian Orakpo showed out last night. These guys continue to prove that they were excellent signings.

The offense looked good, but so did the Titans defense, making Nick Foles look like the middling to poor QB that he is.

Sankey looked excellent on Sunday night, as his O line opened up holes for him that weren't there in Atlanta.
