I hate all injuries, but the ones in preseason are especially brutal. This morning Carolina Panthers second-year wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin had to be carted off the field after going down and appearing to grab his knee. It was a non-contact injury, and those tend to be the worst kind. Here is video of the injury from Jeff Zell:

Benjamin had a fantastic rookie year with 73 catches for 1,008 yards and 9 touchdowns. He was a late-round steal in drafts last season. You wouldn't have gotten him for the same discount this year- his ADP is 34.2 according to FantasyPros.com.
This could also have an effect on Scam Cam Newton's value. Newton is a really valuable fantasy asset because of his rushing numbers, but taking away his #1 receiver won't help anything.
