Titans training camp practice recap 8/11: The Marcus Mariota streak reaches double digits

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

Marcus Mariota continues to be the story of Titans training camp.  He has now gone 10 practices without throwing an interception.  He was 10 of 14 in today's practice.  We are now approaching 200 practice pass attempts without a pick.  That's not a huge deal, but it's also not nothing (for lack of a better term).

Cody Riggs, an undrafted rookie from Notre Dame, is getting some work with the first team while Jason McCourty and Blidi Wreh-Wilson are sidelined with injuries according to Jim Wyatt.  Corner back is not a place where the Titans are very deep.  Riggs has an opportunity to make this team if he can play well during this chance.

Wyatt also mentions Zach Brown as someone who has really had a nice camp.  The Titans were talking about the big plans they had for Brown last year in camp.  All of that was derailed when he was lost for the season in week 1.  It is good to hear he has picked up where he left off.
