DGB is getting some time with the first teamers, and this is more of a reward than anything, says Shawn Jefferson. Dorial Green-Beckham is literally a huge talent, with the ability to completely revamp this offense, along with Marcus.
Titans Online has some observations from day 9 of training camp. Some included DGB shaking off some rust, and Marcus playing in a little bit of non-scripted practice. He threw right at 50%, which isn't great, but again, no interceptions.
The Titans are borrowing some from the Oregon playbook that Mariota is so familiar with, incorporating some zone-read looks. While Marcus can definitely succeed without that, it would be a waste to not use the added threat that his legs can bring.
The Tennessean has 5 observations about the Titans camp, including how good Mettenberger has looked. Do not worry, Mariota has still looked even better, so there is no quarterback controversy here.
