Between The Posts: Don't Play With Fireworks

New York Giants Defensive End Jason Pierre-Paul recently had his index finger amputated following a 4th of July fireworks accident. While reports were certain that JPP would be able to continue his NFL career, this is certainly a surprise and a possible obstacle for him to overcome.

Elsewhere in the NFL, the league and English Premier League team Tottenham Hotspur agreed to a 10 year pact to play 2 NFL games at their new state of the art venue starting in 2018. It is but another step to increasing the league's influence in the UK market.

In case  you didn't already know, Zach Mettenberger is a pretty funny guy. He's certainly coming off as the more mature in his back-and-forth with JJ Watt.

Also, the Colts new addition our wide, Andre Johnson, actually wanted to play for the Dolphins but was not made an offer. So much for "only wanting to play in Indianapolis".
