With all NFL teams reporting to training camp in the next week, there has been increased attention into these teams' biggest training camp position battles. The Titans have no shortage of these competitions this year, and it will be interesting to see how the team resolves roster spots like right tackle, interior defensive line, and wide receiver. I am pulling for some of the young guys on this roster, including WR Tre McBride, 2nd year DL DaQuan Jones, and DL Derrick Lott. Rookie Angelo Blackson wasn't my favorite pick, but he turned some heads earlier in the Summer. I am equally intrigued to see how Jalston Fowler and David Cobb are worked into this new-look offense with Mariota at the helm.
The biggest news of the day, however; came courtesy of everyone's favorite team, the New England Patriots. Specifically, their QB Tom Brady, whose four-game ban was upheld by the league today. Now, I don't really care much what happens in the AFC East at this point. I have no love for the Dolphins, Bills, or Jets. But you have to imagine that those teams were satisfied with the league's ruling.
What say you on the Brady suspension verdict? Too harsh? Too lenient? Or just right?
