Elvin Bethea until the 2015 Titans season starts

I know that's not Bethea.

It is officially 65 days until the season starts. My goal going forward is going to be to have a post each day that highlights a guy who wore the uniform number of how many days are left until kickoff for the Titans. Today we continue with #65, Elvin Bethea.

There were no pictures of Bethea in the editor, but he played for the Oilers and that is an Oilers picture. It was the best that I could. Bethea is one of two players to ever wear #65 for the franchise. That's what happens when a Hall of Famer wears the number.

Bethea was the Oilers 3rd round pick in 1968. He played his entire 16 year career with the Oilers and was elected to 8 Pro Bowls. It took too long, but Bethea was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2003.
