It is officially 76 days until the season starts. My goal going forward is going to be to have a post each day that highlights a guy who wore the uniform number of how many days are left until kickoff for the Titans. Today we continue with #76, David Stewart.
Big Country was a staple of the Titans offensive line for the better part of 8 years. The team got a steal when they picked him in the 4th round of the 2005 draft. That was the same draft that the Titans added Michael Roos in the 2nd round. It doesn't get much better than that.
My favorite part about Stewart was the fact that he wasn't afraid to mix it up. Offensive lineman need to have that nasty streak in them to be effective. That wasn't a problem for Big Country. Sure, it led to penalties sometimes, but it made him fun to watch and easy to cheer for.
