It is officially 78 days until the season starts. My goal going forward is going to be to have a post each day that highlights a guy who wore the uniform number of how many days are left until kickoff for the Titans. Today we continue with #78, Jacob Ford.
I am a little bit biased here because Ford is the only Titan who has ever bought me lunch. That was a fun interview and he couldn't have been a nicer guy. I really thought he was going to be a star under Jim Washburn.
Unfortunately for the Titans and Ford, it didn't work out that way. He battled through a few injuries to end his career with 15.5 sacks in 3 years. Ford got a look in Detroit, under Wash and Jim Schwartz, but didn't end up making the team.
He was a 6th round pick in the 2007 NFL Draft out of Central Arkansas.
