It is officially 80 days until the season starts. My goal going forward is going to be to have a post each day that highlights a guy who wore the uniform number of how many days are left until kickoff for the Titans. Today we continue with #80, Curtis Duncan.
Those Oiler teams in the early 90s had a lot of firepower. Duncan was drated by Houston in the 10th round(!) of the 1987 NFL Draft. He spent his entire 7-year career with the Oilers from 1987-1993. He made the Pro Bowl in 1992 when he caught 85 passes for 954 yards and 1 touchdown. I bet fantasy football owners were really mad that he only found the end zone once that season.
Duncan finished his career with 322 catches for 3,935 yards and 20 touchdowns.
Bo Scaife, the worst player in NFL history to receive the franchise tag, is the only notable player to wear #80 for the Titans.
