It is officially 85 days until the season starts. My goal going forward is going to be to have a post each day that highlights a guy who wore the uniform number of how many days are left until kickoff for the Titans. Today we continue with #85, Nate Washington. Some of you probably thought this would be Derrick Mason. It would have been had he not scored a touchdown at L.P. Field while playing for the Ravens and then thrown the ball at the Titans logo and mocked the crowd. He has been dead to me since that moment.
Nate Washington came to the Titans as a free agent in 2009. It was a bit of a rough start for him with the team, but he developed into a really good receiver for the Titans and a good veteran leader. I am going to miss watching him play this fall.
Washington ended his career with the Titans with 307 catches for 4,591 yards and 28 touchdowns over 6 seasons. He has signed to play with the Houston Texans (Boo!) in 2015.
