It is officially 87 days until the season starts. My goal going forward is going to be to have a post each day that highlights a guy who wore the uniform number of how many days are left until kickoff for the Titans. Today we start with #87, The Hawk, Lavelle Hawkins.
The Hawk had quite the cult following here at MCM. He was a star in the preseason. Every year he would put up numbers against guys that would be out of the league in 3 weeks, and every year people thought he was going to be good. Unfortunately it never worked out that way.
He finished his career with the Titans with 71 catches for 771 yards and 1 touchdown over 5 seasons. He played part of one season with the San Diego Chargers.
