The Titans have announced today that Steve Underwood will remain the team's president through the 2015 season.  Here are the comments from Amy Strunk on behalf of the Titans' ownership group:

Our organization has undergone a great deal of change over the last year and a half. We believe that stability is important, and that has become more evident over the last two months as we examined how to best proceed with this position. Steve has a strong understanding of our organization and the NFL from his years of service, and he gives us that stability. We will review the situation at some point after the 2015 season and will make a final decision about how to proceed with filling the position on a permanent basis, as we are committed to having a CEO/President in Nashville. We attracted a grouping of candidates from diverse backgrounds over the last two months, but we decided that with the season approaching, more change would not be prudent for the organization or potential candidates. We thank Steve for his commitment to our franchise, and we know he will lead us in the right direction during this time period.

And from Steve Underwood:

I am excited and honored to continue my stay here in Nashville. I have a great deal of respect for this organization and our ownership group, and I look forward to the challenges on the horizon. I will do all that I can to put this franchise in a position to have success both on and off the field this season while hopefully positioning our organization for long-term success.

The search for a new president will presumably begin after the season is over.
