Bryan Fischer of NFL.com has put together a piece on the top 100 sudden impact rookies for 2015. The Tennessee Titans have 3 players on the list with all 3 in the top 30. The first player on the list, obviously, is Marcus Mariota. He comes in at #6:
The Week 1 starter for the Titans will have plenty of pressure to perform as the new face of the franchise in the most interesting offensive experiment in the NFL.
The next guy on the list is David Cobb at #22:
Mariota isn't the only player in Nashville who will be asked to assume a big role early, as Cobb will split carries with Bishop Sankey.
I am really excited to see what Cobb brings to this team. All of the people who spend time studying this guy on film love him. The split between Cobb and Sankey might start out close to 50/50, but I would be willing to bet that it's closer to 70/30 Cobb before the season is over.
The last player from the Titans on the list is Dorial Green-Beckham at #29:
Mariota has some weapons at wideout but none can match DGB's potential as a red-zone threat. Could a double-digit TD total be in his future?
The answer to that is an emphatic YES!
