Ken Whisenhunt and Ruston Webster had their pre-draft press conference yesterday. They went out of their way to show everyone in the world just how much they love Marcus Mariota. Whiz even went so far to say that he would include spread elements in his offense if they take Mariota. How the room didn't burst into laughter is beyond me.
That had most people convinced that there was a 100% chance that the Titans are going to take Mariota with the 2nd pick....that is exactly what they want you to believe. Jeff Darlington of the NFL Network, who has been with the Titans for a week or so now to cover the 2nd pick, is reporting that not only are the Titans taking calls about the #2 pick, they are also making calls:
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Despite Titans' praise of Mariota, 1 big reason this isn't done: Titans aren't just taking calls about a trade -- they're making calls, too.</p>— Jeff Darlington (@JeffDarlington) <a href="https://twitter.com/JeffDarlington/status/593405422947667968">April 29, 2015</a></blockquote>

As I have been saying for a while now, there is a 2% chance that the Titans take Mariota. They are going to be working feverishly between now and tomorrow night to move out of this spot.
