NFL Mock Draft 2015: 7 Rounds for the Tennessee Titans

This new mock draft from CBS has the Tennessee Titans addressing quite a few of their desperate needs.

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

I have a lot of respect for people who do 7-round mock drafts.  Anyone can sit down and bang out a first round mock in a few minutes, but it takes a lot of thought and time to go through 7 rounds for 32 teams.  It will be widely inaccurate, of course, but no one can predict what NFL teams are going to do in the first round....much less for all 7.

That brings us to Chris Trapasso's 7-round mock draft from CBS.com earlier this week.  He gave the Titans Leonard Williams, DE, USC in the first round.  That pick was the norm in mocks at the beginning of the mock season, but it has become more and more scarce with all of the trade/Marcus Mariota talk for the Titans.  Here is what Trapasso had to say about Williams to the Titans:

he Titans also did a graduate-level amount of homework on Mariota, but Ken Whisenhunt needs to see a sizable jump in the win column in 2015. He can't wait for Mariota to labor through growing pains. Whiz's defense was in shambles last year, and Williams gives Ray Horton and Dick Lebeau a defensive line centerpiece (to pair with Jurrell Casey), which is needed in a division with Andrew Luck.
The he had the Titans taking Ereck Flowers, OT, Miami with the 33rd pick. I don't love drafting a right tackle that high, but that would be a really good value on a guy that most people expect to be a first round pick. His comments:
The Titans continue to heavily invest in the offense line -- Whisenhunt couldn't overcome a brutal offensive line in Arizona, so keeping Zach Mettenberger upright is of the utmost priority for Tennessee's offense.
One note here: I would be extremely tempted to take Todd Gurley, RB, UGA with this pick. That dude is a game-changing running back. He was still on the board in this mock.

Here is how he rounded out the draft for the Titans:

Third round: Ronald Darby, CB, Florida State
Fourth round: David Cobb, RB, Minnesota
Fifth round:Ty Montgomery, WR, Stanford
Sixth round: Gabe Wright, DT, Auburn

What do you think of this group for the Titans?
