According to Aaron Wilson, University of Miami Wide Receiver Phillip Dorsett is set to visit the Titans. This is one of a good number of Wide Receivers that are visiting St. Thomas Sports Park heading into the NFL Draft. The Titans should be familiar with him, considering they coached him at the Senior Bowl. He is a burner--a track star who ran the fastest 40 yard dash at the University. Some compare him to Santana Moss and T.Y. Hilton.
The more the Titans have Receivers come visit the facility, the more you think. Most of the Wide Receivers that have come through this month have been first or second round prospects. This very well could be indicative of the Titans placing the position very high up on their priority list, and for good reason.
Before the news of the Titans' interest in Dorsett broke, it seemed that the team was only interested in big, physical Wide Receivers, like Kevin White, Devante Parker, and Jaelen Strong. It made sense considering the fact that the team already signed Harry Douglas last month, and that Justin Hunter has been extremely disappointing to say the least. Now, it seems that the Titans are exploring all options. Let's see if they bring in any more Receivers before the 30th.
