The Titans have been trying to address certain positional problems for years. Quarterback, running back, wide receiver, and right tackle (just a year), yet haven't yet found sound solutions for those positions. Will this be the year they can fix these leaky spots on the roster? The draft could fill all of those holes as it is deep at RT, RB, and WR, and the Titans have a chance to select one of the best QBs in the draft at #2 overall.
Paul looks at the Titans needs and what they could do in the draft. I think Ruston loves the idea of getting one of the top WRs as much as I do, so trading back into the first round could be a legitimate scenario should one of the top 3 WRs fall a bit.
The analysts agree that we should take Jameis Winston if he falls to 2 overall. I say no thank you. His decision making on the field gives me pause enough, not even taking into consideration his off field issues.
Hakeem Nicks is visiting the Titans. I don't know how much he can offer us, but if he can get back to 80% of the player he was those first couple years with the Giants, he could be really special as our X.
