Hakeem Nicks is visiting the Tennessee Titans

Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

Free agent WR Hakeem Nicks is visiting the Tennessee Titans per Jim Wyatt.  Nicks was with the Indianapolis Colts last year.  He only had 38 catches for 405 yards and 4 touchdowns last season.  Those aren't good numbers in the pass happy Colts offense.

Nicks did have back to back 1,000 yard seasons for the New York Giants, but that was back in 2010-2011.  He would, however, be an upgrade to what the Titans currently have on the roster.  I wouldn't give him more than a one-year deal with any guaranteed money attached to it, but he is worth a look.  Let him come to camp and compete for a spot.  Heck, he could probably even teach Justin Hunter a thing or two about how to be a big play receiver.

Nicks was the 29th pick in the 2009 draft.  That is one pick before the Titans selected Kenny Britt from Rutgers.  It is too bad that didn't go the other way.
