NFL Draft 2015 Rumors: Ron Jaworski says Buccaneers to take Marcus Mariota

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

It's silly season!  The draft is a little over 2 weeks away.  If you think the rumors have been crazy, just wait.  It will move to a whole new level between now and April 30th.  With that in mind, Ron Jaworski told PhillyMag.com that his sources are telling him that Marcus Mariota will be the Tampa Bay Buccaneers selection with the first overall pick.

Is there a chance that will happen?  Sure.  Jameis Winston comes with a host of questions surrounding him, espeically off the field, but he is still regarded by most people as the best quarterback in this draft.  Mariota has the chance to be a very good pro, but his ceiling isn't as high as Winston's.  The Bucs would have already worked out a deal with him as the first pick if he didn't have the off the field concerns.

It would be interesting to see what would change for the Titans if Winston isn't the first pick.  You know the Titans have at least been talking to teams about trade possibilities with Mariota on the board.  I wonder if they have been having potential discussions with teams about Winston as well...or maybe they would be thrilled if Winston is on the board because he is the guy that they want (that thought terrifies me).
