2015 NFL Draft: Who is visiting the Tennessee Titans?

Which players are the Titans bring in with their limited visits?

Joshua Lindsey-USA TODAY Sports

The Tennessee Titans are visiting with prospects and trying to narrow down their big board into something reasonable. With four picks inside the top 100, the Titans have to do their homework on the big players and the ones you may not have heard of. With that in mind, lets look at the list of players the Titans have visited with according to Tom Gower.

1. Bryce Callahan CB, Rice

2. Ronald Darby CB, FSU

3. Leonard Williams DL, USC

4. Dante Fowler EDGE, Florida

5. Danielle Hunter EDGE, LSU

6. Deiontrez Mount EDGE, Louisville

7. Shane Ray EDGE, Mizzou

8. Marcus Mariota QB, Oregon

9. Jameis Winston QB, FSU

10. Daryl Williams OT, Oklahoma

11. Amari Cooper WR, Alabama

12. Dorial Green-Beckham WR, Mizzou

13. Davante Parker WR, Louisville

14. Breshad Perriman WR, UCF

15. Kevin White WR, WVU

So that is the list that he has as of right now, and there are somethings I find really interesting about that list.

Firstly, Davante Parker and Kevin White make a lot of sense as trade down targets if the Titans move down to the Browns picks at 12 and 19. If they go lower than that (i.e. Philadelphia or San Diego) than Breshad Perriman makes a lot of sense.

Secondly, it looks like the Titans are really interested in edge rusher whether they are trade down targets like Fowler or Ray, or if they are mid round guys like Mount and Hunter. I think depth makes it smart to go for an edge rusher in the mid rounds, but I don't like the value of taking one at the top of this draft.

Finally, for a team with only one real starting caliber offensive tackle on the roster, that isn't a lot of love for the offensive line. Not only have they only brought in one offensive lineman, but they haven't even brought in a player that they could look at with their top two picks (at least I hope not).

This list screams trade down targets to me, but lets remember that the only two players last year that visited the Titans and were drafted by them were Avery Williamson and Zach Mettenberger. Maybe visits aren't a huge deal for top picks, but that they mean more for mid round picks. If that holds true this year, then maybe Titans fans should familiarize themselves with names like Danielle Hunter, Bryce Callahan, Daryl Williams, and Deiontrez Mount.
